Meet Julie

Julie Pruneda,

psychotherapist.

Julie Pruneda, LPC, LCDC, NCC

Julie is a psychotherapist, behavioral health consultant, and clinical research interventionist dedicated to helping individuals better understand themselves, their relationships, and the experiences that shape who they are.
Her work bridges psychotherapy, behavioral health consultation, and clinical research, allowing her to support individuals and communities through evidence-based approaches grounded in warmth, curiosity, and cultural sensitivity.
Julie believes therapy and behavioral health support should feel collaborative, grounded, and deeply human—a space where people can explore difficult emotions, understand patterns, and create meaningful change with greater clarity and self-compassion.
She has experience supporting individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, attachment wounds, burnout, grief, identity-related stressors, and complex relationship dynamics. Her work is rooted in the belief that insight and emotional awareness can help people develop resilience, strengthen relationships, and cultivate a more connected relationship with themselves and others.

My Philosophy

Healing happens in relationship.

The name Occam reflects a guiding belief: healing often begins by clearing away what no longer serves you and making space for what is true.
I draw from EMDR, somatic approaches, IFS, and attachment-based therapy. But more than any method, I bring my full presence – a steady, kind companion as you do the brave work of remembering, integrating, and reconnecting with yourself.
You’re allowed to take your time here. There is no script. Only you, your story, and a space designed to hold both with care.
